ITCC Update on Implementation of the Ascent Event

The decision has been made that the Ascent Event will not be implemented at the 2015 ITCC in Tampa. The Rules Committee will continue to work on the rules and procedures for this event. Chapters should not include the event in your competition. Please read the complete statement for more details.

ITCC Gear Inspection Expectations

Safety is always a priority for ISA. Thank you to the committee volunteers and numerous local chapter volunteers who are dedicated to ensuring ISA events run safely. Occasionally there is some confusion on site as to what documentation a competitor needs to provide in order to introduce new gear for use in competition. To better prepare yourself for gear inspection not only at ITCC but your local events, review the “What to expect during gear inspection” document found on the ITCC website.

2015 ITCC Rules Now Available

The 2015 revisions for the ITCC rules are now complete. The current copy of the rules are posted online.

Update on Specifications for Using the Rope Wrench at ISA TCCs

After receiving updated documentation, ISA now allows for the Rope Wrench RP280 to be used in all configurations as indicated in the User Manual. Please read entire notification.
